Today is my mother's birthday. She reads this blog, but I am going to say it anyway. She's 70 years old today. Happy Birthday Mom.
This past Sunday Steve and I drove to Cordele, Georgia. In addition to being the watermelon capital of the world, Cordele is where my parents are now living. They live in a house that was built in the early 1800s. We spent the day visiting and catching up.
That evening we had a fish fry. I use the term we pretty loosely. The ladies did some prepping inside and Uncle Tim fried the fish. The other men folk drank beer and made sure Tim cooked the fish correctly. There was a lot of food. You should have been there.

You mom doesn't look anywhere CLOSE to 70, she's still gorgeous and rosy-cheeked. I think this bodes well for you.
